1,2Damgaard Metal is currently seeking a skilled blacksmith/Welder for our blacksmith department.
As a modern machine factory employing approximately 80 individuals across two locations in Denmark, Damgaard Metal specializes in supplying welded and machined constructions to a variety of industries. Job Responsibilities:
Given our focus on handling small to medium-sized orders, the tasks for this position will be diverse and include:
• Proficient welding using TIG and MIG/MAG techniques.
• Construction and assembly of steel structures.
• Welding on various materials including black steel and potentially stainless steel.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
• Formal training as a blacksmith/metalworker/welder.
• Demonstrated experience in welding black steel and preferably stainless steel.
• Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings.
• Valid welding certifications or a willingness to obtain them.
